This newly constructed state of the art cruise ship port, lies on 25 acres of reclaimed land in the Basseterre harbour. It is capable of accommodating up to four cruise ships simultaneously and also includes a marina which can take yachts up to 70 feet in length. Some of the features this port will have to offer are duty free shops, plazas, restaurants, a hotel and a casino.

Fort Lands

Located on the Western side of Basseterre, Fort Lands is home to two of St. Kitts' most beautiful hotels. The Ocean Terrace Inn and the Fort Thomas Hotel and Resort sit on this cliff side over looking the Basseterre harbour with views of the South East Peninsula and Nevis.

Also located at Fort Lands is OTI's Fisherman's Wharf Seafood Restaurant.  This world famous seafood grill restaurant is opened nightly for dinner with live entertainment on Friday nights.

The Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport

This airport located about 10 minutes drive outside of Basseterre, is due for completion in June 1998. It was originally called "Golden Rock Airport" but was renamed in light of its EC$40 million expansion. This fully air-conditioned airport will be able to accommodate up to 400 passengers at once. Some of the new features at the airport are additional departure gates, improved baggage handling and a new 100 seat restaurant.
