Frigate Bay

Frigate Bay is St. Kitts' main tourism district. This part the island features beautiful beaches on both the Atlantic and Caribbean side. You can also find an 18 hole championship golf course, restaurants, hotels, resorts and condominiums. All development in the Frigate Bay area is controlled by the Frigate Bay Development Cooperation.

There are plans in the works for the January 29th start of construction of 450 unit condominium/hotel in the Frigate Bay area. This hotel will add an additional 1000 new rooms to St. Kitts.

The South East Peninsula

This 6 mile long peninsula, that reaches out towards Nevis, is home to most of the best beaches to be found on St. Kitts. On a day drive to "the Turtle Beach Bar & Grill", the only restaurant on this side of the island, one can see monkeys playing everywhere or even the rarely seen White Tail Deer that inhabit this part of the island. It is said that the monkeys out number human on the island by 4 to 1 and this can be seen very well on the peninsula.
